This species in common resident and performs local movements. It lives in fields, wetland's edges and short grasslands where it forages, searching for invertebrates such as insects, worms, molluscs and also crustaceans.

Cette espèce est résident commun et effectue quelques déplacements locaux. Ces oiseaux vivent dans les champs, les bords des zones humides et les prairies à herbe courte où ils se nourrissent en cherchant des invertébrés tels que des insectes, des vers, des mollusques et aussi des crustacés.
