Mountain Quail
The Mountain Quail is very close to being a species endemic to the United States, but the northern tip of its range just reaches into extreme southern British Columbia, while the southern tip of its range just makes it into extreme northwestern Mexico. It is, however, entirely restricted to the mountains of western North America.
